The socks are designed with specific features in mind, to address the pain points faced by diabetic patients. The non-binding tops allow a relaxed fit that does not restrict blood flow. The seamless toe stitch reduces irritation, thus increasing the comfort. Arch support creates a better fit that reduces the risk of blisters and sores. It has a breathable acrylic material that keeps the feet dry and comfortable. The benefit of Acrylic is that it has a sweat-wicking property that pulls moisture away from the foot to allow sweat to evaporate, thereby lowering the risk of fungal infections and also preventing odor. The drier the foot, the more protection from developing blisters and other wounds as well.
Do note that the diabetic socks come in L&R stitched onto the socks, which stands for Left&Right side. Unlike regular socks, diabetic socks are designed with specific pressure points and cushioning in mind, which can help to relieve pressure on the feet. By having a left and right sock, the pressure points and cushioning can be placed in the optimal locations on each foot for maximum effectiveness.
While diabetic socks were originally designed to address the unique needs of diabetic patients, the benefits are not limited to them. In fact, one can benefit from improved circulation, increased comfort, and reduced risk of blisters and sores. When the elderly have difficulties wearing tight socks, our stretchable cuff makes it easier for them to put the socks on. Pedal Edema or 脚水肿 in Chinese is an abnormal accumulation of fluid in the ankles and lower legs that causes swelling feet.
Diabetic socks are typically white because it is easier to spot any signs of foot injury or infection, which is especially important for diabetic patients who may have reduced sensation in their feet. Wearing white socks can easily see any signs of redness, swelling, or drainage, which could indicate an infection or other foot-related problem that requires immediate attention. However, we added a BLACK color to the range, to cater to non-diabetic use and work wear. It is important to note that the color of the socks should not compromise their effectiveness in protecting the feet and promoting foot health.
The most important factors are the quality of the materials, the level of compression, and the overall design of the sock to ensure that it provides the necessary support and protection for the feet.
